The meeting was called at 12:10, and was attended by twelve members and one guest, including: guest Tyler, and members: Juan Estrada, Jennifer Ebner, Brenda Getting, Joe Stewart, Darcy Konold, Rhonda Walthall, Arnold Ahyuen, Jim Tucker, Norma Toothman, Molly Frisbie, Fabio Bottalico, and Matt Greenbergs.
12:10 President Darcy Konold welcomed members and guest, and led the pledge of allegiance. 12:12 Darcy introduced Arnold Ahyuen, Toastmaster of the day. 12:13 Arnold greeted the audience and introduced the theme of the day, World Ocean’s Day and WOW:
Pelagic- Ocean going; pertaining to or inhabiting or conducting operations at sea far from land Toastmaster asked attendees to introduce themselves incorporating the WOW
12:20 Arnold made certain all positions were filled. 12:22 Arnold introduced the first speaker, Molly Frisbie. Molly gave her ATMB-2, “Happy Birthday, Harry”.12:30 Arnold went over timing rules for scheduled debate. Title: Low Frequency Active Sonar Testing. 12:32 Arnold introduced first debater Joe Stewart, advocate. 12:41 Arnold introduced second debater Rhonda Walthall, opponent. The debate was Rhonda’s CTM-6. 12:49 Toastmaster asked Joe for his rebuttal. 12:53 Toastmaster asked Rhonda for her rebuttal. 12:55 Toastmaster introduced General Evaluator of the Day, Matt Greenbergs. 12:56 Matt introduced individual evaluators: Darcy evaluated Molly. Brenda was the Timer. Juan was the grammarian & ah counter. Jim evaluated Rhonda in writing. 1:01 Toastmaster asked guest to comment on meeting. 1:03 Toastmaster announced best Evaluator: Darcy Konold, and Best Speaker: Molly Frisbie. 1:04 President asked for volunteers to fill spots for the June 14 meeting. 1:06 Darcy adjourned the meeting.
