Minutes

The meeting was called at 12:07, and was attended by twenty members, guests and new guests, including: Matt Greenbergs, Jose de la Torre, Jim Tucker, Stephen Jaworski, Joe Stewart, Darcy Konold, Fabio Bottalico, Bach Phan, Natalie Williams, Michelle Roth, Alfred Balagtas, Dick Larkin, Frida Vissuet, James Jang, Hannah, Briz Garcia, Aland Hernandez, Denise Lidell, Rob Cross, and Madir Cuddy.

12:07 Sergeant at Arms Alfred Balagtas led the pledge of allegiance.

12:07 Alfred introduced the President Darcy Konold.

12:08 Darcy greeted the audience and welcomed the Toastmaster of the Day, Dick Larkin.

12:09 Dick greeted the audience. The Toastmaster introduced the theme of the day ("National and State Parks",) and WOW. ("Sublime - Being worthy of adoration or reverence; supreme; majestic; noble; exalted. Dick welcomed guests and new guests. Toastmaster invited everybody to introduce themselves using the them of the day and WOW, which were well used during the introductions.

12:25 Dick welcomed to the lectern Briz Garcia, Central Division Governor.

12:26 Briz presented to the club the Golden Gavel Award that was earned by the club on March 29,2006.

12:28 Toastmaster welcomed to the lectern the Educational Moment Master Stephen Jaworski.

12:30 Toastmaster introduced the first scheduled speaker, Frida Vissuet. Frida presented CTM #7. Frida's presentation enlightened the audience with the topic "Save Lives."

12:38 Toastmaster introduced the second scheduled speaker, Jim Tucker. Jim practiced for the speech contest.

12:50 Dick introduced the General Evaluator of the Day, Matt Greenbergs.

12:51 Matt called his team of evaluators:

Jose evaluated Frida Vissuet.

Fabio was was the Grammarian.

Natalie did the Timer's report.

13:00 Toastmaster announced that Best Speaker is Frida Vissuet, and Best Evaluator Jose de la Torre.

13:04 Darcy adjourned the meeting.
