Meeting Minutes for nov 15, 2006

The meeting was called at 12:06, and was attended by sixteen members and two guests, including: Juan Estrada, Doug Goodman, Matt Greenbergs, Jose De la Torre, Darcy Konold, Joe Stewart, Rhonda Walthall, Don Wiggins, Robb Cross, Frida Vissuet, Jesse Wang, Ferdonya Hendeson, Tania Fragomeno, Fabio Bottalico, Norma Toothman, and Hannah Zhao.

12:06 Sergeant at Arms Jose De la Torre called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

12:07 Jose introduced President Darcy Konold.
Darcy Konold welcomed members, guests, and introduced Toastmaster Doug Goodman. Toastmaster introduced theme and WOW. Toastmaster welcomed past President Joe Stewart.

12:10 Joe Stewart introduced officer candidates for the January to June 2007 term. Candidates gave a brief candidacy speech.

12:20 Toastmaster led off self-introductions.

12:35 Toastmaster introduced the day’s only speaker.

12:45 Toastmaster welcomed to the podium soon to be member Rob. Rob announced our new officers.

Ø Secretary: Tania Fragomeno.
Ø VP Public Relations: Brenda Gettig.
Ø VP Membership: Matt Greenbergs.
Ø VP Education: Darcy Konold.
Ø Sergeant at Arms: Ferdonya Henderson.

12:50 Toastmaster introduced the day’s General Evaluator, Jesse Wang.
Jesse introduced her team of evaluators.
Ø Ferdonya evaluated Darcy-ACG-3.
Ø Rhonda was the Grammarian.
Ø Fabio was the Timer.
1:00 Toastmaster announced best of awards.
Ø Best Speaker: Darcy.
Ø Best Evaluator: Ferdonya.
1:02 Toastmaster welcomed back President Darcy Konold. Darcy made club announcements and adjourned the meeting.
