Meeting Minutes for Oct 4, 2006

The meeting was called at 12:09, and was attended by ten members and three guests, including: Juan Estrada, Doug Goodman, Matt Greenbergs, Jose De la Torre, Darcy Konold, Robb Cross, Frida Vissuet, Jesse Wang, Don Wiggins, and Hannah Zhao.

12:09 Sergeant at Arms Jose De la Torre called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance, and introduced President Darcy Konold.

12:10 President welcomed our member’s and guest’s filled open positions and welcomed the Toastmaster of the day Doug Goodman.

12:12 Toastmaster Doug Goodman provided an outline for our guests, of what and how Toastmasters works. Doug led off our self-introductions.

12:28 Toastmaster introduced the first speaker of the day, Don Wiggins.

12:40 Toastmaster introduced the day’s second speaker, Hannah Zhao. ACB-7

12:51 Toastmaster introduced the day’s General Evaluator, Darcy Konold. Darcy introduced her team of evaluators.
Ø Darcy evaluated Don Wiggins.
Ø Rob evaluated Hannah-Acb-7.
Ø Juan was the Grammarian.
Ø New member was the Timer.
Ø Darcy gave an overall evaluation.

12:59 Toastmaster announced best of awards.
Ø Best Speaker: Don Wiggins.
Ø Best Evaluator: Rob Cross.
