Meeting Minutes for Aug 2, 2006

The meeting was called at 12:05, and was attended by sixteen members and two guests, including: Juan Estrada, Darcy Konold, Rhonda Walthall, John Davis, Matt Greenbergs, Brenda Getting, Hannah Zhao, Doug Goodman, Jose De la Torre, Rajeev Shah, Jennifer Ebner, Norma Toothman, Jim Tucker, Arnold Ahyuen, Jesse Wang, and Martha Lachmayr-Pomes.

12:05 Jose De la Torre called the meeting to order and led the pledge allegiance.

12:06 President Darcy Konold introduced Rhonda Walthall, Toastmaster of the day.

12:09 Rhonda greeted the audience and introduced the theme of the day,
An Evening at the Improv and WOW- Impromptu- Prompted by the occasion rather than being planned in advance. Ex. Table Topics are a great way to practice impromptu speaking.

12:10 Rhonda, also the Contest Chair, asked for self introductions and explained the days contest.
