The meeting was called at 12:10, and was attended by eight members, including: Juan Estrada, Brenda Getting, Darcy Konold, Rhonda Walthall, Arnold Ahyuen, Fabio Bottalico, Frida Vissuet, and Jessie Wang. 12:10 President Darcy Konold welcomed members and led the pledge of allegiance. 12:12 Darcy introduced Rhonda Walthall, Toastmaster of the day. 12:13 Rhonda greeted the audience and introduced the theme of the day, Summertime, Summertime and WOW- Topiary- A garden having shrubs clipped or trimmed into decorative shapes especially of animals. Ex. A topiary outside the entrance of Disneyland is cut in the shape of Daffy Duck. 12:15 Rhonda had all members introduce themselves. 12:22 Rhonda introduced the first speaker, Frida Vissuet. Frida gave her CTM-8 12:32 Rhonda introduced second speaker Juan Estrada. Juan gave his CTM-3. Title: “Five tips on boosting your metabolism.” 12:38 Rhonda introduced General Evaluator Darcy Konold. 12:39 Darcy introduced individual evaluators: Arnold evaluated Frida. Fabio evaluated Juan. Jessie was the timer. President Darcy Konold welcomed members and guest. Darcy introduced Norma Toothman, Toastmaster of the day. Norma greeted the audience and introduced the theme of the day, “Oh My Papa! What My Father Never Told Me” and WOW: Stern – 1. Unyielding; strict; severe; inspriring fear. 2. The aft part of a boat or ship. Norma asked attendees to introduce themselves incorporating the WOW Norma introduced the first speaker, Dick Larkin. Dick gave his ATMS Project #2 speech from the Better Speaker Series. Congratulations to Dick for completing his ATMS! Norma introduced the second speaker, Jessie Wang. Jessie gave her CTM-1 speech. Jessie shared with us the importance of education in her life. Norma introduced the third speaker, Jennifer Ebner. Jennifer gave her CTM-1 speech. Jennifer shared with us her wit and humor about her life experiences. Frida Vissuet was the Table Topics Master. The participants included Rhonda Walthall, Jennifer Ebner, Darcy Konold, and Joe Stewart. Norma introduced General Evaluator of the Day, Rhonda Walthall. Rhonda introduced individual evaluators: Matt evaluated Dick, Dee evaluated Jessie, and Fernand evaluated Jennifer. Brenda gave the Timers report and Alfred gave the Grammarian /Ah Counters report.
