He is striving to achieve balance in his life by infusing something he loves in life into his work. When he was 15, during Career Day, he decided he 1) wanted to be a professional golfer, 2) be a professional musician, and 3) be a professional chef. While in college, he majored in Voice. Afterwards, he studied culinary arts at a Trade School and became a chef. However, for the last 25 years he has been working in Sales. He has found that golf is a good tool for Sales and he is striving to add golf into his business dealings. As a kid, he was a caddy. He golfed with his Dad every Sunday, which enabled him to develop a close relationship with his father. In the last few years, he has ran 3 major golf events at prestigious golf courses and he recently received an offer to consult for Leverage Golf while playing a round of golf. Greg spoke for 6:04 minutes.

Each nominee that was present was asked to stand and briefly describe what they expect to achieve for themselves personally and for the club while holding office. Alfred Balagtas, nominated for Sergeant At Arms, described his reasons and concluded that he has experience since he had been a sergeant in the Marine Corps. Hannah Zhao, nominated for Treasurer, described her reasons and stated that he had a Masters degree in Finance. Jose de la Torre, nominated for Secretary, described his reasons and stated that he hoped being secretary would help improve his writing skills. Matt Greenbergs, nominated for VP of Public Relations, was not present but asked Darcy to speak for him by saying “I’ll Do It!” Joe Stewart, nominated for VP of Membership, described his reasons and concluded that “members is what it is all about – gaining new members and retaining existing members.” Rhonda Walthall, nominated for VP of Education, described her reasons and concluded that she was looking forward to the challenge. Darcy Konold, nominated for President, described her reasons and stated that it was a huge honor to be a President’s Distinguished Club and she was looking forward to the challenge of maintaining that honor.
