Evaluation Contest & Tax Tip Seminar

Next week is our club evaluation contest where one speaker (me) will be
evaluated by the contestants. Then the other club members vote on who
did the best job of evaluating my speech.

It's a really cool contest, because there's no preparation (except for
me) and we emphasize the benefits of Toastmasters' feedback which is
what makes us improve our communications.

You may sign up to be a contestant at the meeting, or let Joe Stewart
(joe.stewart@twp.cc) know in advance.

Also, we just confirmed that on March 9, Mark Gray from Liberty Tax
Services will give a 20 minute talk titled "5 Ways to Save Money on
Your Taxes". This is one meeting that could have an immediate boost in
your pocket. Please invite two friends to attend this session. It's a
great way to showcase our club, and to add an immediate benefit to all
attendees.

Oh, and one last thing. Our Club has already attained "Distinguished
Status" for achieving 5 of the 10 goals outlined by Toastmasters
International. Century Toastmasters is held up by the District
leadership as an outstanding model for all to follow.
