SDG&E and Sempra, Milo took a huge leap into the world of
performing, teaching, and keynoting based around the art of
IMPROVISATION.
Walking away from the security of Sempra was by far the most difficult
choice of his life, he says, but he'd had too many people telling him that
he was missing his true calling: his passion for improvisation.
Upon venturing out, he first created the teambuilding and
communication course "TEAMprovising" using improvisation to teach
concepts of listening and building upon the ideas of others...while
everyone has fun in the process. "Learning sticks best when we enjoy
the process," he tells Century Toastmasters. This course has since been
used by both SDG&E and Sempra. The U.S. Department of Defense,
CSC, and Union Bank of California have all experienced TEAMprovising.
He then began to apply his many years of Toastmaster training to
professional speaking. With Sempra I.T. Director Lee Krevat, Milo
developed a DUO keynote where 10 business points are proven as 10
improv games are performed. This "show" speech has been hired by
Kodak, Pfizer, and Sempra.

I will be a timer, but as it is my first time, I will need to know exactly what/when to time. The latest schedule covering our next four meetings is attached. It looks like we could use another evaluator, a Grammarian/Ah-Counter, and a Timer at tomorrow’s meeting. Please let me know if you would like to schedule your next speech or serve as a functionary at an upcoming meeting. Thanks. Joe
